Rehabbed area of the downtown core is beautiful, if you happen to be there for some other reason, like a sporting event or conference. Start at the Smale Riverfront Park area and go out from there. Not recommended at night.

There are beautiful trees and flowers, creative water fountain displays, various little parks, historical signage/facts/statues, dinosaur information, clean restrooms, and various types of seating like swings, benches or steps. Great views and walk. Goes along city park, stadiums, restaurants. Offers city skyline views, and attractions for kids and adults (although attractions are considered part of the city park, I recon, which is reviewed separately).
