- Laura DDowners Grove, Illinois96 contributionsDisappointed in how disjointed it all wasI have been to many markets and was SO excited to go here and left disappointed. It is not all connected and some stores were not open when I went. I had a chai tea that was less than stellar and a bagel that was decent. Things were expensive to me and did not feel super clean in there. I have been to better markets. There is a small parking lot in the back which is a fee lot. Not sure about any street parking around there. Overall I was disappointed.Visited April 2023Travelled soloWritten April 3, 2023

There is numerous stalls and shops in the area . You can buy produce. Cheese, meats Mediterranean foods and Numerous deli items to take home or eat at the many outside red tables. - Susan HTacoma, Washington2,617 contributionsGreat little market!Went on a Sunday thinking there would be a lot more as the weekend has outside vender booths, but really there wasn’t much outside and parking on the weekend was crazy. Overall fun market to visit. Great place to buy ingredients for dinner with everything from fresh pastas, fresh breads, and pierogis to seafood, sausages, chicken, and steaks. Also deli meats and lots of cheeses as well. Fun to explore.Visited June 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten June 18, 2023
- Couscous4102 contributionsSo Much to See and Eat!Findlay Market is fabulous! I found delicious, vegan food and a shaded bench for lunch, while my family members enjoyed standard burgers and tacos. As it was a summer Saturday, the market was crowded, but we have a wonderful time browsing and people watching.Visited June 2023Travelled with familyWritten June 20, 2023
- Marco SRineyville, Kentucky152 contributionsCool little marketMy wife really wanted to go here so we did. I’m glad we did as well. The open market really does have any kind of fresh meats, cheeses and veggies you want. They also have a wide variety of sweets (pastries, ice cream, etc). Outside they have all kinds of artist, jewelry, paintings, etc. If your in the area you should stop by. Parking is $3 an hour which is cheap.Visited August 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten August 7, 2023
- Nicole TSyracuse, New York5 contributionsSo much funThis was such a fun place to explore! So many great vendors, such eclectic food choices and the freshest produce you can imagine! This is a bustling center that anyone can enjoy! Parking seems to be a bit difficult. Their lot was completely full so we parked on the street with many other cars, but ended up getting a violation for being too close to a bus stop. So be aware of where you leave your car.Visited August 2023Written August 19, 2023
- KMMWest Terre Haute, Indiana178 contributionsNice fun placeWe went over Labor Day weekend, it was so hot out. But had a wonderful time. We didn't buy much because we were traveling. But plan on bringing a cooler and stocking up next time. It was an awesome place, great selection! Can't wait to go back!Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten September 5, 2023
- pat cPalm Coast, Florida130 contributionsGrab a bite and then hop on free city circle trolleyFun stop for a quick meal. Might compare to Boston’s Faniel Hall, just smaller. Walk thru to select a meal or a nibble from many food vendors. Eat in or outside on metal tables. Big variety of food types. After you eat hop on free street trolley that circles the city. Saves your feet and perfect if weather not optimal to walk. Trolley stops just outside hall.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten October 20, 2023
- UsuallyNotGrumpy4,078 contributionsGreat food and vendors. A real blast on trick-or-treat night! We stopped by on our wander up to Reingeist brewing and were glad we did. *Lots* of kids and adults dressed up in full costume for trick-or-treat! Even the vendors got into the spirit. We didn’t have a lot of time to spend here so I just got a little container of fresh pickled veggies to munch on the walk. Very tasty!Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten November 12, 2023

Our first trip. Parking was not great. Area around the market was shady. It was more of a grocery store than ready to eat food. Just surprised what it was……might go again-might not.

Findlay Market is a collection of stalls, indoor and outdoor, with more small shops that have clearly grown around it over its lengthy history. A great place to browse and snack or sit down for a meal or find something to take home for dinner that night (or all three). Be sure to visit The Arepa Place for a chicken-and-cheese arepa and accompanying food coma. Maverick Chocolate makes lovely truffles, especially the Espresso and Fresh Orange varieties. Head to the Bake Place for the delicious cheddar-and-spinach scones. The Rhined, just across the street, has a thoughtful small selection of cheeses. Cherbourg Cypress, across the street on the opposite side of the market, makes a dandy espresso brownie. SKT sells notecards, mugs, and recycled cotton tote bags with beautiful prints on them. If you're coming here from downtown, you can take a free tram; I'd strongly advise that, especially on weekends. If you're going to visit specific merchants, check their opening times, as some open later than others.

We arrived about the time it opened on a Wednesday. Limited parking options and many homeless folks in the area. Led us to feel unsafe with our elderly parents along. If you go, I would recommend a weekend time when there were more patrons.

Is this accessible for someone in mobility scooter or wheelchair? Is there areas that are not accessible for handicapped persons?

Yes, it's an mostly an outside area, although I think it can get somewhat busy.
Is it inside, or outside.

There are vendors inside and out as well as across the alleyways. The main indoor market is always quite crowded however, for me, worth it. I am not sure I would enjoy it as much on bitter cold or inclement weather days.

Best place to eat at Findlay Market???

Springfield, OH31 contributions
it isn't a normal restaurant but lots of places to choose from and then they have seating inside and out. we love it because everyone in our party goes and gets what they want and then we meet at a table and eat. I love the deli sandwiches, my daughter- perogies, my husband gets BBQ or Vietnamese. Then we go the Italian place for picking our desserts!!

Are there nice hotels in Findlay? Any recommendations?

As previously posted, Findlay is just the name of the market, which is located in Cincinnati. There are several hotels located throughout Cincinnati, Trip advisor has a great list of them. If you're not keen on driving there are bike rentals available. However, if your stay is during the summer the heat and humidity can be oppressive.
