The bridge offers a great view and contrast of the urban downtown Cincinnati with the more suburban feel of the Kentucky side of the river. We walked across which was a nice activity from the Riverfront park.

Roebling Suspension Bridge attracted our attention for numerous reasons. It was a forerunner to the Brooklyn Bridge. It is beautifully maintained: a treasure from another period. It is still in use today, a century and a half after its construction. For us, there were two...More

We parked on the Kentucky side and walked across on this bridge, which is not very long, but gives a great view of the waterfront area. There is not a great deal of information about the bridge, at least we didn't see any, but we...More

This is one of my favorite bridges. It has some nice design features, and really adds to the Cincinnati and Ohio River skyline, especially at sunset.

This is an easy and enjoyable bridge to walk across. Park in KY and walk to a game and enjoy Smale Park.

This is my favorite bridge to cross in the city, on foot or driving. The history is really something to research - http://www.roeblingbridge.org/history/. I sleep over with a friend near this bridge and the humming (singing) wakes me up in the morning, pretty neat!

While the parking is more challenging on Cincinnati's side the are garages or lots right off Pete Rose Way with the bridge in between. Sometimes, depending on the day you can sneak over and park on the tarmac at Paul Brown... More

The bridge is approximately a half mile long from Newport Kentucky to Cincinnati. There is pedestrian access from either side as well as parking (metered or surface lot). It is a nice walk and is a pedestrian only bridge... More
