Great city park

Great park in the midst of the city. I learned that this was a former cemetery, which explains some of the plaques we saw in different areas. There is a fun fountain area, and we did see kids playing in it when we were walking through that section. There were several open green areas for picnics and just sun-bathing or taking a nap on the grass. We also saw some people with camp chairs or lawn chairs set out in different spots. They were setting something up a rally event for the soccer game that night, so there were also some tents and tables near the central part of the park. Also a cute little dog park area!

Great dog park

Enjoyed the park. The dogs loved the dog park. Nice playground. Had a nice sitting areas and small bar in the park.

Love the artsy feel of this park with water spouts kids can get wet in and cool play ground. They have concerts in the park and a tiny dog park.

Beautiful Park

My husband and I attended a play at Cincinnati Shakespeare theater and Washington Park is close by. It's a lovely park with trees lots of lawn area for picnics, play and even a dog park. They have concerts -- free to the community. A great family spot.

Worth seeing if have the time or want to be in nature and relax.

We were taking a self-guided tour of the city. The park was located near the middle of our tour (we started riverfront and ended at Finnell market). The park gave us shade, places to sit and rest, watch kids in splash pad, see the dogs in the dog park, there was some food trucks there which we did not use so do not know price or if food was good, but this is available if needed. Very large park with beautiful landscaping and nice place to people watch and rest.

Definitely a little of everything in a compact space in the city. The dog park had fresh running water for pups to drink, the kids playground looked fun, plenty of shade trees to relax under....I might return for a pregame soccer party because the setup looked great.

Small dog park, LOTS of green space

I come here on occasion, but never participate in the dog park. My girl doesn't like dog parks. LOL. That being said, the dogs that do attend seems to be well behaved.
This park has concerts every so often and is across the street from Music Hall.

Urban park heaven

This is a gorgeous urban park. It even has a bar so you may drink and enjoy the surroundings. The entire square was beautiful.

Not being a local we came here as a recommendation from our waiter. It was a fun walk from 12th and Main. Today’s temperature was broadcasted at 96, so my favorite thing was watching the many children playing in the water fountain.
