Minutes from the Cincinnati Art Museum (which you should also visit) and a joy to visit. It's small, and we were there when it was not busy, so it was relaxing, and we could stop and study the plants without feeling we were impeding anyone else. We were there before the butterfly exhibit opened, so it might be more crowded... More

Really enjoyed the Butterfly Show today . They do a great job confining them to one room . They have a nursery for them and they are always releasing more for the show . You can definitely spend a couple of hours sitting back and watching them flutter around. Sunday afternoon it wasn't too busy. You can get a $... More

I took visiting nieces and nephews to the Butterfly display - amazing, and sooo beautiful! This an annual event specializing in the exotic and beautiful from all over the world. It kept both the kids and the adults absorbed for about 2 hours. Something to be seen.

We went on a Wednesday afternoon to see the butterflies, and it was pretty busy. Our kids enjoyed all the butterflies and we even got to hold a few. My recommendation is to take your time and sit back and relax while you're there. It's very peaceful, and the butterflies will come right to you. Take some time after to... More

It was a rainy day so this was a good stop for us. It was probably an hour tops to see the different plant exhibits. The major disappointment was that the conservatory was between exhibits and they were adding butterflies to a section so that part was closed off. We also had to walk around the closed off section to... More

We were in Cincy for the day and decided to check out the butterfly exhibit. The parking there is horrible! Not many spots close by. We parked in a park near by and walked over. The Conservatory is small and not much to see. The butterflies were pretty but it's in a small space. We're glad that the sun wasn't... More

We love visiting the Krohn Conservatory. There are several rooms to visit with tropical, desert, and orchid rooms. There are often special programs or exhibits, such as the butterfly show which we've enjoyed several times. We were just there in February and they had transformed a large room into "Blooms on the Bayou" complete with a stream and tiny cabin.

Although not a huge exhibit, you will want to take your time to view all the lovely plants and trees. It is normally a serene environment, but there are days when school field trips can be noisy. The annual butterfly show is a must see. Pack a lunch and enjoy the park outside, too.

We visited with our small children who loved all the little discoveries such as the goldfish and various trees with flowers and fruit. Really nice gift shop that is reasonably priced and I wish we could have bought a small something, next time I will budget for it. Half of it was closed due to preparation for the monarch festival... Krohn conservatory houses interesting plants and flowers from various locations. Each May-June there is a butterfly show that attracts kids and adults alike.
