Butterfly show is awesome!

Our family tries to go almost every year to the Butterfly Show at Krohn. It's a beautiful facility with a great array of plants, trees and various shows.

I have visited the Krohn many times and always take out of town guests there. I am grateful they have retained their Christmas out door Nativity scene but sad that the Christmas display in just one more "winter holiday' and that the Butterflies have taken over Easter. But all in all, at other times of the year, especially when snow... More

What a beautiful place. There are amazing plant displays. The conservatory is small enough that children can really enjoy the wall through. If you can go when they have the butterfly show, the kids (and adults) will thrilled.

My youngest daughter and I always go for mothers day, it's our tradition. The butterflies are always beautiful and it's amazing to see all the different ones from different places around the world. If you have never been you should go, but go quick they are only there s short time.

This giant grrenhouse had a tropical section, a desert, a waterfall, and seasonal floral displays that change. Often, they will host special events for companies and gorgeous weddings.

This was pretty cool. Had many different parts that are consistent with various environments for botany. The line was huge though. They had two people working and one cash register which was not very efficient. Butterfly's were cool!

A beautiful display of all types of botanicals. From cacti, to orchids, to bonsai hundreds of years old. It has permanent "rooms" as well as a space for rotating seasonal displays. There is even a waterfall and "cave" in one space. Very cool for the whole family!

Khron Conservatory is in Eden park in the Mt. Adams section of Cincinnati. It is a wonderful place to visit at any time, with its separate sections such as Palm, Tropical, Desert and Orchid and over 3500 different plant species, but you will also want to visit during their special events. A recent one is Butterflies of the Phillipines. Another... More
