We've visited the park two years in a row, and have enjoyed it both times. The driving trail takes visitors through the park and stops at the interesting spots. Each one is very interesting and full of historic facts, figures, photos and displays that you'll...More

I went for the annual luminary tour and it was amazing. They light the route through the battlefield with candles. Each candle represents a life that died in the battle. These lights stretched on for 5 miles through the battlefield. Breathtaking and inspiring. Freedom is...More

My understanding of the Civil War increased markedly thanks to the excellent movie (produced for the NPS by Ken Burns) and the wonderful displays at the Visitor Center. This was the second battle in the US Civil War, and the first in which a Union...More

If you love your history, this is a must see. Very informative and fact filled staff. The drive through the battleground was breathtaking. There is an audio tour on the drive easily accessible on your cell phone.

Very nice visitor center. The driving tour was well posted. In the summer, it seems, that if you go after the visitor center closes, you can do the driving tours for free. Other wise it costs $15. Was worth waiting until after 5, if you...More
