This place is so neat! It is an actual dig site that has been enclosed. Bones are exposed that have been dug up this far. In July you can go and see them actively digging.

Our family visited here one afternoon while in the area. It was a lot of fun and the guide did a great job. I would recommend going here if you are in the area. The kids really liked it (10 & 13).

Great tour of a mammoth archeological dig. Luckily this did not get bulldozed and built over with a neighborhood.

Very informative, working dig site. The tour was great even though our guide sounded pretty bored. We reserved a spot for our two young sons to do the hands on dig and they loved every second of it (not real mammoth bones, just casts).
