This is a beautiful venue set among the woods. Getting dropped off and picked up by a friend was pretty easy. You can BYOB, so we brought a cooler full of wine, beer and snacks. We had planned to sit on the lawn, but got...More

I've always heard about Wolftrap, but never been. We went here for the first time last night for the orchestra playing the music of Prince. What a fantastic venue. It's a national park venue and there is plenty of parking to include handicap and electric...More

Best outdoor venue in the area. The concept lineup summer 2018 was exceptional. I came to 3 concerts this summer, its always great. Parking is much easier than it was 8 years ago. Come an hour or so before your concert, bring a picnic, including...More

My experience with Wolf Trap is only with the Filene Center which is a beautiful ampitheatre. However, I attended a sold out showing which entirely too many lawn tickets are sold. They probably sell 1 ticket per square foot of grass at the venue. People...More

Attended concert at Filene Center, Wolf Trap. Was very impressed with the facilities, the staff, the venue, free parking, and the list goes on and on. Have been to many amphitheaters in the northeast and this was by far the best experience. Can't wait to...More

While Wolf Trap is more than the Filene Center, its centerpiece open air (though covered for the most part) performance space, I will focus on this gem. We have seen a number of outstanding performances there and while we generally get seats in the covered...More

Just saw two concerts here -- both indoors, one with box seats and one with orchestra seats -- and for both the sound was so loud that the vocals were overwhelmed and muddy. Also, someone has decided that extremely bright lights should randomly pan the...More

We go to events at the Filene Center about once a year. I am always impressed at how well the traffic control works, how professional the staff behave, and what a nice venue the arts center is. Maybe it’s a reflection of the audience for...More

This was my first time going to Wolftrap -- went to see Gladys and the Ojays. Drove from Raleigh NC and stayed overnight. The venue is nice if you can get seats close to the stage or if you like sitting on the lawn. Got...More

You can't go wrong at wolf trap with either lawn seats or in house. Bring a picnic and enjoy your lawn seats or take your seats in house just before the show. The variety of music available is very diverse so there's something for everyone....More

Not sure about a buffet but you can picknick on the grass. Try to get there early for a good spot. Ps- bring your own adult beverages as theirs cost a fortune!
