I'm not much on concerts, but the National Park System's Wolf Trap Facility makes going to concerts fun. You can sit out on the lawn, or pay more and sit in the open air arena. On one occasion I treated my guests to box seats and the up front parking. Amazing experience. Getting in and getting out of Wolf Trap... More

Went to see a National Symphony concert and this time sat on the lawn with friends and a picnic basket, it was so much fun!

I have been going to Wolftrap for years! The organizers - year-over-year - assemble a list of class A artists and performances! You can either picnic out on the lawn or find a great seating location in the amphitheater. Your choice! Enjoy the show!

Inexpensive and quaint venue to see some of the classic musicians. Lawn seats are inexpensive and you can bring your own food and drinks. So pack a picnic basket.

Whether booking a magic night of performance by magnificent artistis, or just strolling local events on the grounds, or even just walking around the park to take in a little scenery, you're in for a treat! Parking is plentiful, grounds are superbly maintained, and it's easy to get to. Not much gouging going on at the box office, either!

We have gone to Wolf Trap many times as a couple and a family. If you are going to sit on the lawn, you must go early, as the better spots tend to get taken very early in the evening. We have been to concerts as well as outdoor family movies. The idea of the movies is great, but the... More

The venue was perfect for a wedding. The ceremony took place in front of the stage then everyone moved to the bar area for cocktail hour. While the guests were in the other room the performance space was changed over from ceremony to dining room. A wedding of about 130 people fit very comfortably in the space. The staff was... More

Our travel to Virginia came too late to view a concert, but it was obvious this would be a marvelous site to view a concert. Just walking the grounds was beautiful.

Great musical entertainment. The venue is outdoors under the stars and features performances from a wide range to talented musicians and performers. Seating is available on a grassy hillside or under cover in traditional chairs. A perfect evening for a lawn blanket, snacks and good listening. Easily accessible from VA route 7.

Good venue for concert. Hot in the summer time as you would expect from an outdoor venue. The sight lines from the seats are good. If you have lawn seats, get there early. The food choices are not very good, so eat before you get there or bring a picnic.
