Even though it was very crowded with people, it was worth seeing and listening to. Oh I forgot you can definitely smell the Sulphur from it.

Very cool phenomenon to be seen in Yellowstone NP. When standing there it feels like a dragon is living inside the rocks and is blowing out steam. Never seen anything like it before. Also close to the prismatic springs and upper level basins. Must see!

A Bison was resting in the mud next to Dragon's Mouth when we visited. IF you have movie on your phone or camera USE it the sound of the mouth breathing will haunt you!

There were several Bison wandering around the parking lot when we arrived. They seem docile but its best to keep your distance. The dragon mouth spring is in constant motion and makes a faint growling noise as the gasses escape. Very unique.

This is a cool stop. To see all the steam come out of the spring. Plus it's makes a great sound as well.

This is a spring located in the mud volcano area. Kids will love it! It really looks and sounds like a dragon is asleep in the cave. Can you imagine the first explorers who found it? Probably came running out telling everyone, and no one...More

We all loved this area. Probably one of our favorite places. It was a little smelly, but it was very interesting.

It was like something out of Game of Thrones or Harry Potter. we could hear the roar of the boiling water before seeing the spouts of hot steam coming out of the side vent.
