The Old Faithful Visitor Centre is a great place to gather information about hikes, geyser eruption times, and activities. Beautifully designed and very well organised.

The Rangers are extremely helpful providing information about the geysers and also travel directions. There is a special room for children where geysers are explained with hands -on activities. We were there for the eclipse and they provided lots of information on that too.

Books, posters, magnets, passport stamps and more. Staff was very helpful in answering questions. Clean bathrooms, great movies in auditorium. Definitely stop in here before or after your geyser walk. I liked that there were lots of options for kids (books, etc).

This is a super kid-friendly educational center with lots of hands-on resources for understanding geysers and other geothermal activity in the region. A few short movies are shown, their timing pegged to Old Faithful's eruption schedule each day. Very nice Yellowstone Forever gift shop, too.

Yes, the lot is Huge with lots of space & turning areas. I saw lots of road work equipment when we were there. Just be sure it would be a good idea to contact the National Park Service, as they might have rules / suggestions... More
