You can enjoy the Biscuit Basin boardwalk loop and at the far end go another .7miles to the falls. But the sign is confusing because it says .7 miles to the left or to the right, or 1.7 to the right?! Go left and enjoy...More

The Mystic Falls Trail is a relatively easy hike of about 2.5 miles round trip. Mystic Falls is very rugged and beautiful and well worth the trip. The trail starts at the end of the Biscuit Basin boardwalk. The boardwalk is very scenic and can...More

Two trails lead to this falls. The short trail is an easy hike and appropriate for most all ages. Like Globetreker commented the loop trail which we took, is much longer and quite steep and rocky in places. There are some sections with steep drop...More

Nice hike took about an hour or two. The falls are worth it. Of course, take bear spray, but this is well traveled and fairly easy to navigate trail along a river. Very much recommended for a family

Did the loop trail going up to the top and down to the falls. It's a long hike with some very steep parts. Saw some really young kids on this hike (under 6 years old). Don't advise that. It's too easy for a young one...More

One can actually see the falls from the boardwalk in the distance. The walk is easy and a wonderful nature trail.

Wonderful little gem that is not as well known and visited as many other sites in Yellowstone. It is quite an easy hike of only about 1 mile to the falls and is another beautiful site to see in the park.

You must go see the beautiful nature setting that lies before you. The hike is a lil' over 3 miles, but worth it. Probably wouldn't take younger children because I saw several that were struggling with the intensity of the hike. Overall, this is a...More

We did the hike to Mystic Falls and continued up the moderately steep switchbacks to the scenic overlook. If you only go to Mystic Falls and back, the hike is 2.4 miles. If you are can handle the challenge of doing the extended hike, it...More

Totally easy to find...The trail is marked and so is the trail head! A beautiful little hike.
