The lodge is historic and in the heart of the Yellowstone Park. Accommodations and dining are good but the facility is an historic landmark with large crowds and incredible views of Old Faithful.

My wife and I recently visited this Inn. The Inn looks splendid inside, and out. We bought some thing to drink, and awaited Old Faithful to spew.

The Inn is an excellent location to explore the park. The lobby is very inviting and an enjoyable place to hang out. The rooms are average.

Very picturesque hotel and restaurant. Definitely worth the visit, even if you are not planing on eating at the restaurant.

1904 historic hotel with enduring charm, built in the perfect manner to fit in its setting. Get reservations a year in advance for the historic "old house" rooms inside!

We wanted to see the historic Old Faithful Inn. It is designated as a National Historic Landmark and is the largest log hotel in the world; and possibly the largest log structure in the world. We originally had reservations to stay at the hotel last...More

Located on the National Registry of Historic Places. Lobby, restaurant, sitting areas, gift shop, and common areas are accessible to all. Even nob-hotel guests. Check out the buffet ($15.95/adult), large rock fireplace, and rustic nature of the lodge.

WOW< As soon as you walk in this inn, you are transformed in time. The Balcony was the high point for us, Three Tiers up.

We were there in October so I can't be sure about the temperature in July. However, it was warm because it is a wide open area with grass, gravel, and blacktop.
