Aptly named, place to include on your itinerary.
Beautiful and easy to access. You can park within a block of the site with an easy walk to the point - and it is worth much more. When planning all the places you want to see in Yellowstone include this. It is centrally located so you will drive by whether you are seeing the geysers in the south, the mudpots and fumeroles at Norris, or the wildlife valley in the north.

    Incredible
Hard to say much more than has already been said in all the previous reviews. A must see when you visit Yellowstone. One piece of advice, if you want the Sublime Trail, you only need to go about halfway. The views beyond this aren't worth the effort. Too many other great hikes in Yellowstone.

    Not to be missed!
This is worth the stop and short walk to see the canyon and waterfalls! Our “Guide along “ app suggested we stop! So glad we did! Beautiful if the Grand Canyon and river you don’t get anywhere else in the park! Good parking lots and easy walk.

We drove to this viewpoint which was painted in the past by artists to attract visitors to Yellowstone. It was a beautiful viewpoint.

We were blown away by the beauty of this place. Beside awe inspiring canyon and falls it was the colors that make this a one of a kind natural wonder.

Best picture without the shadows is at sunrise. Have to be there by 6, by 6:30 too many shadows. Was there with just a few other photographers, no crowds to contend with.

One of the highlights of Yellowstone that should not be missed is Artist’s point. Wait for parking you will be glad you did. Try all the angles and perspectives.

This is really an inspiring view of one of the most iconic features of Yellowstone NP. You can get a great look at the truly awesome and colorful canyon and the Lower Falls from here.
Be aware this is a congested area. Lots of foot and vehicle traffic.

Artist Point is an awe-inspiring destination. Situated on the south rim of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, the point offers stunning views of the canyon and the majestic Lower Yellowstone Falls.
The viewpoint is easily accessible and well-marked, with a large parking lot just a short walk away from the viewpoint. The trail leading to the point is lined with beautiful trees and wildflowers. The falls cascade down 308 feet into the canyon below, creating a magnificent display of water and mist that is truly mesmerizing. The colorful rock formations of the canyon walls add to the stunning scenery
