We went to Mirror lake on our last day mainly due to it being flat and only about 2 miles. Nice trail on the way and a beautiful but small lake (they have stopped dredging on now to leave it natural) beautiful views like all...More

This is mostly a seasonal lake, but was a gorgeous view even in early fall. Very easy loop - worth the trip!

This was my last hike of the day, and it's a very easy one. The lake itself is great and wonderful, although before you start hiking, you have to decide which side of the lake you want to hike, over wise getting across to the...More

We rode bikes towards mirror lake but needed to walk up the last 100 yards or so. It was not crowded (which I could not say about the rest of the park). It was interesting to read about the sand and ice and past uses...More

Hiked this recently on my trip to Yosemite. I did the full loop, about 2.5 miles to the end of the trail, you'll reach a bridge, and then loop back around (~5 miles total, took me 2+ hours with stopping to take pictures). Once you...More

If you like swatting midges then this is the trail for you. They're less thick on the paved street. Mirror Lake, as you may know, is gradually disappearing since the forest service stopped trying to ensure its survival. Catch the reflections while you still can.

Loved this trail. Mirror lake is wonderful for a swim and an afternoon picnic. Would recommend this trail for a rest day or as something to do after a more rigorous hike like the Four Mile Trail (both ways).

We hiked in the heat through annoying bugs flying at us and there were forest fires so it was hazy. We would recommend bug spray for sure. The lake would have been magnificent if it was there. It was dried up. We were under half...More

It really depends why you come to the Park, are you into hiking, river rafting, or just relaxing etc. We explored the park quite thoroughly and this was one of the many, many sights that we enjoyed very much. Very majestic!
