Worth it, especially in November when its usually closed for the season. Go picnic there, take a short hike, or stay for sunset over Half Dome. Takes about 45 minutes from the Valley floor.

The view is amazing of Half Dome and the Yosemite Valley. It is a crowded tourist spot, but you will be glad you went nonetheless. It is best to arrive there after a hike around the top of the valley and a visit to Sentinel...More

We started the Pohono Trail from Glacier Point so didn't spend very long there but the view of Half Dome and down the valley was incredible. Beautiful start to our hike!

See almost all of the park from this point. Easy walk from parking area to Glacier Point. Also has restrooms, gift shop and snack shop! Take lots of pics!

Agreed with the above response, definitely mountain driving which my husband is experienced at. The day we went up we left the valley at about 7:00AM so we were literally the only ones on the road going up, and passed not... More
