Shower was pretty good if u need one staying at watchmen campground..super close. 5 min is actually plenty to wash .just make sure you wear flip flops Biggest problem was me getting a terrible skin rash/folliculitis from their neoprene sock for hiking the narrows. The rash extended the whole length up to my calf...was it the narrows river or the... More

We rented shoes to hike the Narrows from this company, and noticed they also had showers. We were staying in the Watchman Campground, which is walking distance from Zion Outfitter, and decided to chance it and take showers at the end of the day (our campground did not have shower facilities). We were happily surprised to find a well-lit, clean... More

We came here at about 2:00 in the afternoon and wanted to rent our shoes, socks, and hiking sticks for our hike into The Narrows first thing the next morning. Went to the counter to explain what we wanted to do and the girl told us we needed to come back after 4:00. We told her we were planning on... More

We rented socks, shoes, and walking sticks for our trip down the narrows. It was exactly what we needed. We didn't need a reservation. It is conveniently located right outside the pedestrian entrance to the park, easily accessible by the Springdale shuttle and the park shuttle. We will be using them again for our return trip!

Renting gear from Zion Outfitters was the best decision we could have made. We dropped in on a whim the night before our planned hike through the Narrows. They told us we could rent gear after 5pm for the next day which allowed us to avoid the lines. They also recommended the best time for us to start our hike... More

First we weren't sure wether we needed a walking stick and boots. We ended up taking the walking sticks and it defiantly wasn't a mistake if you walk through the river a walking stick really is needed. Maybe even getting the boots wouldn't have been a bad idea.

We stayed at the Watchman campground and Zion Outfitter is right across the river. It was simple to rent gear for the Narrows - they have a package that includes neoprene socks, shoes, and a hiking staff. The shoes allowed us to walk on the rocks and not slip at all. We were also able to rent the gear the... More

If you want to try to make it to the Narrows, you need to invest in the gear. The shoes, socks and sticks make it possible to navigate the current and rocks and help to eliminate injury. They are a reasonably priced rental and a sensible investment. The staff there is wonderful! The park rangers daily rate the risk of... More

When visiting Zion there is really only one place to rent your gear from. Time after time Zion Outfitters goes far beyond what could ever be expected from a company in a tourist town. The staff is knowledgeable and incredibly helpful on conditions in the park and can steer you the proper way. After my many encounters with different staff... More

Very close to Watchman and South campground. The only place with showers. It is very clean. The showers so SUPER expensive. $4 for 5 minutes. Its so little time, they should at least allow 10 minutes. But we made it work. There is no lines because of the time limit we believe. We rented our gear here, super easy and... More
