There's not much to see or do apart from taking few photos of a nearly vertical outcrop with Buddha image painted on it. Most of People stop by while on the way to nearby attractions like water park. Good thing - it's free of charge.

This attraction is well worth a short stop over on the way to Silver Lake Winery and other attractions in this area. It is a large Buddha out lined in gold on the side of a cliff face. It is set in pleasant gardens and is very popular with tourist groups for a short stop over. It is free to... More

What an amazing place. The view is fantastic & this in combination with a visit to Silver Valley is a very good trip to do. Plenty of photo opportunities. Worth a visit.

Just drove by on the way to our nearby resort. It is impressive to see. Apparently that's real gold. The parking lot looked really busy with lots,of cars and buses and souvenir stands.

Wonderful tribute to King Rama IX, this mountainside buddha image is fascinating and inspiring to all, Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike...just twenty minutes out of Pattaya. Nice restaurant nearby for lunch or a snack.

Has to be seen to be believed, the rock face was cut to provide the background for the silhouette of the Buddha. My understanding is that it was then drawn by laser and white plaster applied over the lines etched by the laser. However, it was not considered good enough, so the plaster had gold mosaic applied, resulting in the... More

The area is serene, even with many bus loads of tourists it is still very quiet, as others have said there is no entry fee, but you should make a donation. Even I being a relapsed Catholic felt I was in the presence of something special.
