Clean water, nice facilities, restaurants and the usual army of Russian ready to burn their necks. It is actually inside one of the royal navy areas around the peninsula (same as the Samae San island) so falangs are allowed but can't stay past 6pm

Clean beach but lots of croud. The sea water is much cleaner here than in Pattaya city or Jomtien. The only place in Thailand I've ever seen waste bins on the beach where you can sort your trash.

Beach was nice, but literally full of tourists, even in the middle of the week. Water was clear and nicely low for hanging out in the sea. We saw few monkeys and recommend to watch over your things. Prepare to pay about 180 baht per...More

It´s a very natural beach with fine white sand, trees that give shade. you can borrow a sunchair for 30 THB. not easy to find if you are there for the first time. absolutely recommendable. Do not forget the passport!

I think it's fit your children's ages well. You can have a boat trip to the island around (very nice) and you can have full day at the western beach. So if you plan your time mix this things, it can be great holiday
