Good place to go. It is located in Navy area. There are two restaurants which on the beach. You can walk on the beach. As it's in the navy area, the place is so nice and clean. There are little turtle and adult ones. You can donate money for turtles' food such as buying of souvenirs and some snack. It... More

Information centre gives good overview of the life of turtles. Many different species of turtles and different sizes in tanks for close-up feeding and viewing.. Situated in naval base. Understandably, security is tight.. Therefore, advise to have Thai friend accompany you. Need rental vehicle or taxi because of distance.

I tried to go there with my family (Thai wife and children). We live in Pattaya and I wanted that our children to see this conservatorium for turtles so they can learn about this. I have tried 2 entrances to the navy base was not allowed. I have read nice reviews about this "atraction" but I was not allowed. I... More

Better than i thought it would be. Great to see the turtles in a nice environment and clearly well cared for. You can see them at many different stages, from tiny babies to beautiful, huge sea turtles. The location, right on a secluded cove is great with mountains surrounding it and small islands off the bay. There is a coffee shop right... More

This attraction is on the Thai Navy base at Sattahip. I visited with my Thai girlfriend, it took a lot of discussion to be allowed on the base and was told that we do not normally let nn Thai's on. Its basically a facility where they either breed Turtles for eventual release to the sea or rehabilitate injured turtles prior... More

This has always been a great day out for the family, unfortunately they no longer allow foreigners entry. After travelling there with my Thai family we were very disappointed to be turned away at the entrance after being advised that there is a new law prohibiting entrance to foreigners.

This is one of the most heart-warming initiatives I have come across in a long time. It is a project of the Royal Thai Navy, based at Sattahip, to conserve sea turtles and release them back into the sea. Turtles lay their eggs in the sands of several islands in the Gulf of Thailand just off Sattahip, but according to... More

Sea Turtle Conservation Center. This center is more like educational as they're saving lives of handicapped and providing a future for baby turtles. Amazing day well spent.

This place is great, they're saving lives of handicapped and providing a future for baby turtles. I respect their initiative and these turtles are cute! I want to take them back home and look after them (although that probably wouldn't be right). This place doesn't seem commercial but more educational for the visitors so I believe this place does make... More
