Great Experience... The city is amazing! Fun Shops to explore. The castle is incredible to visit. Walking up is a challenge so if you’re not in a decent shape then I wouldn’t attempt the walk up.

We were crossing from Corsica to Sardinia and had a few hours to kill in the area. The Citadel is quite small but still nice - there are an awful lot of restaurants where you can take advantage of the spectacular views across the sea....More

The place is quite impressive and the view from the opposite cliff really stunning. The walled city is interesting with a lot of picturesque views. One advice: better go in the morning when the light is on your back and gives the better effect.

We went all the way up in the citadel for the view. The water is so clear and the white cliff is beautiful to see and check out! Definitely recommend everyone to go to this town for the sightseeing!

Well, when you plan to visit the citadel you must come to terms with the fact that there will be a lot of climbing up an down stone stairs. But come on, we can't expect to have elevators everywhere, can we ;) ? We took...More

Perched high on the cliffs overlooking the port, the citadel has all the charm you might expect from this very old town. there are some amazing views to be had, but be aware that the town does get very busy. It's a tough climb from...More

Old part of Bonifacio, impressive setup, interesting buildings, some renovated, most not, brilliant views over the sea and the coast line.

You book guides at the tourist office. I don't know how to book in advance. There are several good restaurants (near Aragon's stairway) with views over the sea, but not as many as you would expect. Most restaurants are... More
