Have been there a few times and rate this little island on of the nicest in the whole Mediterranean sea. Cristal water, amazing rocks, lovely little roadsteads. The cemetery of the Similante wreckage is very impressive. If going there make sure to have water and food, there are no facilities on the island

Go to the harbour and book one of the boat trips, leaving every hour, from central booking centre. Includes free parking for the day (a savings of 15 euros). The view of the limestone cliffs from the water is amazing. The island and beaches are lovely. Take food, water and an umbrella to shade the sun. There is no shelter... More

No picture can do this island justice. It is beyond the capabilities of most cameras to capture so many dimensions. The island is a pre-historic looking, volcanic explosion of jumbled stacks of huge boulders and rocks. The island is surrounded by endless lagoons of the most spectacular blue hues, unimaginable until the tour boat starts approaching. This is easily the... More

We took a boat trip to Iles Lavezzi beginning of September which is slightly off season. Weather is great and there was not too many people, but to be honest I feel it was a bit overrated. The ride and the views are amazing but if you just feel like swimming and enjoying the beach I'll recommend going to Plage... More

Take your swim suit, mask and snorkel, lunch and camera. This place is off scale. You can find smashing waves and quiet secluded beaches. Plan to spend the whole day. Don't rush this great experience.

We went to Bonifaccio and every hour there goes a boat to the islands. In Bonifaccio you can park free at a special place if you buy tickets for the boattrip. Take everything with you like food, drink, towels, snorkle equipment because on the island you have nothing. On the island you must climb to the little beaches. The man on... More

Amazing trip with the boat from the port of Bonifacio to Lavezzi was totally worth the price of the ticket - 35 euro. Natural reserve condition of the island doesn't allow any commercial activity so no shops, no restaurants (and also no public toilets:). So be prepared, take some water and healthy snacks. Natural granite sculptures park surrounded by blue... More

Wonderful day out get there early an find a spot on one of the many beaches, no bars or restaurants so take anything with you you need. The boat returns via the caves and grotto's so you dont have to pay for both trips.

The ride to the islands and back is gorgeous as you get stunning views of Bonifacio, the cliffs and the caves (sdragonara is a must). During peak season - and even in September - the island and its beaches are Extremely crowded (boats from France AND Italy are dropping tourists all day long). We would rather recommend a tour of...
