The best afternoon tea I have had. Beautiful surroundings, outstanding service by attentive, friendly staff. Then a stroll around the amazing grounds, just perfect.

We had a fantastic guided tour of this delightful hall. Our tour was made memorable by mouse who joined us in each of the rooms we were taken to on the groundfloor. Our guide was super and knowledgeable, and made our visit very interesting.

A brilliant day out. Beautiful house and grounds with that sense of not being too big and impersonal, rather it has a lived in feel that makes it special

Lovely historic house that is only open on a limited number of days. It was a glorious sunny day, which was good as there's a walk from the car park in the long grass of the field, down the tree lined drive to the house....More

Hi - no need to pay for house admission if you just want the tea room. Worth noting that it's a fair walk down the drive from the car park in the adjacent meadow to the tea room and the house.
