This place has the best salmon sashimi I've ever had (and I've had a lot of sashimi in a lot of different and expensive restaurants). Even my five-year-old loved it! I'd buy the $30 plate and share. It's definitely worth it.

Ok, so besides the view being incredible the sashimi salmon is out of this world good. Its well worth the $10 to buy one or more. Its fresh and the soy sauce is lovely. I went back for seconds.

Stopped here on our way out of Mt Cook. Was expecting more description on how salmon is farmed etc Got a box of sashimi since we were already here - it was very fresh and of good value too!

There is a nice view but the salmon farm is just a salmon sales point with nothing interesting and no living Salmons.

We stopped for a look and to feed the salmon and buy some fish for dinner. There was only one salmon pen that you had access to see and feeding the salmon gave you a fleeting view of fish fairly deep in the water. The...More

Yes. The salmon shop (where there are also pens so you can feed the fish at no cost) are just across the road from where the fish are farmed in pens. There's not a lot to see at the pens as there is no access. However I... More
