What an amazing family experience. No better way to spend a day in Wanaka. We had an excellent guide (Bryce) who encouraged us all the way and also shared some valuable local knowldege. The canyon was beautifull, the gear in good condition and the water refreshing. Overall an epic experience.

We just came back from an awesome experience at the big Nige. Owen was a great guide and as you could tell he was very experienced we always felt very safe with him. The big Nige was a real adrenaline kick and we can really recommend going to Wanaka just for this! The only drawback was charging extra for photos... More

The guid Alain was super nice and professional. Give you all the equipment you need, adjust the trip according to our pace. The adventure itself was insane! The most fun we had in wanaka!

First, I should say that my husband was hooked on doing The Big Nige trip after watching the YouTube videos ... I was a bit freaked out about the whole experience. That said, we signed up anyway because we're up for adventures, and it was our honeymoon after all, so ... compromise. :) Our first day in Wanaka we met... More

The driver was rude to other drivers and drove so aggressively out to the site that it tainted my view of their experience.

My husband 64, myself 56 and our daughter 24, decided last minute to have and adventure and we decided to go canyoneeing! We had never done it before and must say it was one of the most challenging yet exhilarating experiences of our lives. We were lucky as there was another couple who were on a waiting list and we... My wife and I visited Wanaka in December 2016 and discussed doing something outside my wife's comfort zone and we compromised on canyoneering and I am so happy we did. Our guides were amazing (Matt and Jeremy officially and Renee came along for fun) I would say if a guide has their trip cancelled and joins your group for fun... More

This was truly a unique experience of rappelling down waterfalls, sliding down the canyon, cliff jumping, zip lining, and hiking. One of the two best experiences of my New Zealand trip (packrafting being the other). Thanks for the great times!

The hostel had suggested a different company from Queenstown and I'm glad u ignores them. Such an amazing day. It was tough and a bit scary, but Dan and Bryce made us all feel really at ease. They were so much fun, I spent the whole day laughing!

Initially, we were unsure of whether canyoning would be possible on our chosen morning. The Wanaka area had experienced rain the day prior and the trip was put in question due to high water levels in the canyon. We were contacted by Deep Canyon and kept up to date with regards to the trips status. Ended up being able to... More
