What a gem

Lovely little find in Wanaka. Nearly fell asleep curled up on the couch. Friendly staff, and delicious food. A right asset for Wanaka

Quirky cinema. Book a ticket and get there early to get a good seat / sofa. Great cookies available in the intermission. A must to do whilst in Wanaka.

I loved it! I went to see the Lion (also pretty good movie) and to have an other cinema experience ($15). It's fun what they did with the seating. Yes there is an old fashion intermezzo in between but totally worth it. The home made triple chocolate cookie is to die for. And to have an overkill off chocolate try... More

Went after many recommendations and enjoyed a good movie (see lion if you get a chance). Booked our seats in advance (do the same by phone and pay on the spot to be sure you have a seat) and got there to see a quaint little cinema with regular spacious seats, sofas and even a beetle you can sit in.... So good to go to a movie theatre where people can walk past with out having to stand up and sitting through a whole movie without a saw bum and drinks in the theatre. How it should be watching a movie

We had a pleasant evening here. So different. You can have a meal beforehand or take something in with you. Comfy chairs, settles or even sit in a car. Very friendly staff who explained there would be an interval and freshly baked cookies or homemade ice cream would be available. Certainly recommend the cookies. Lovely atmosphere - like being at... Small theatre which got very hot and stuffy until they put the aircon on at half time. We had an iced chocolate before movie. It was overpriced and tasteless but worst of all it was only in a small glass. Rip off. Theatre has old comfy couches to sit in and a couple of old card to sit in to... More

Not particularly the movie of choice but the cinema was quality. A step back in time even saw an intermission at half way through the movie. Service was friendly and prices were fair.
