This is a great place to catch a variety of films. You sit in random couches and half way through the film they have an interval where the serve the most amazing fresh baked cookies with drinks.. The ice cream is also delicious...try the Paradiso...More

This quirky little cinema is one of its kind left in New Zealand. Its a retro looking cinema with an intermission during the movie- great for catching some snacks and a toilet break. The seats are a combination of old airline seats, comfy leather sofas,...More

I have never before been to a cinema that is cosier than my living room :) The cookies on the break are delicious! Only minus variable service, sometimes super friendly sometimes not so...

I saw Desolation of Smaug and Captain Phillips there and I can say it's just the best cinema ever ! When you can just lay down on a sofa and just enjoy your movie with a cookie or a coffee. Awesome. :)

For just NZ$15, this is a worth-it experience. Seats are a combination of cinema seats, actual sofas and even a car! Sound and video quality is good.

We came here one afternoon after a recommendation from the hostel and were super Impressed with the lay out. Proper comfy chairs and good cookies, definitely unique for a cinema

Such a nice place! I would highly recommend this cinema experience with it's delicious fresh cookies in the middle of the film. And we sat in a morris traveller! So much fun!

Coolest place to watch a film. Decorated very nicely. Offers kickass hot cookies during intermission. Kick back, relax, have a beer/wine woth cookies and popcorn and sit in either a couch or a chair and watch a film in that cozy place

The retro atmosphere and the casual seating (we sat in a 3 person sofa) was enjoyable as was the food and drinks on offer. Parking is onsite - very good since parking in downtown Wanaka takes some planning.
