More
On the shores of Lake Wanaka, Rippon has been farmed by the Mills family for 4 generations. Our vineyard Cellar Door offers tastings of a selection of wines all grown and produced on our Demeter-certified biodynamic lakeside vineyard. We do not have a restaurant onsite, nor are picnics allowed. For groups of more than 6 people, we ask that you call ahead to ensure that we are able to accommodate you for a tasting. We look forward to seeing you at the vineyard when you are in Wanaka!

We decided to spent the afternoon in Rippon Wineyard (no restaurants on site!) when we have a lovely talk with guide that last about one hour. This is a very small vineyard and you don't visit it nor the winery. This is more about listening...More

You really should go there when in Wanaka if only for the view but the winetasting is also great, people are super friendly!

We were staying nearby and walked to the vineyard. The views are dramatic, the wine is excellent and the tasting explanation given by the staff member was well done. Nothing more to be said!

When you see a picture of the wineries in the Otago/Queenstown region you almost always see Rippon. It's simply beautiful and worth a visit even if the cellar door isn't open.

Rippon is located on a beautiful piece of land, conveniently just outside Wanaka's town centre. The building was gorgeous, and of course, the views were gorgeous. We enjoyed our wine tasting which was presented with a lot of local and wine knowledge. We were sad...More

Very informative tasting which was free. Bought a bottle of pinot noir to bring home and cellar. View from winery over the Vineyard and the lake was amazing.

Hi Suzie - It is a worry and I am very sorry to hear you received poor customer service on your most recent visit. We take much pride in what we do here ... wine-growing and customer service alike. Unfortunately food and platters were detracting...More
