Bronte is a terrific beach with nice sand, good surf and an old-fashioned (and delightful) ocean pool at one end. It is just south of Bondi Beach, but much smaller, quieter and to my mind more attractive. The beach backs on to a deep public...More

The swimming pool on one side of the bay is a safe place to swim, and a lot of fun when the flood is high.

We stayed in Bondi but walked over to Bronte Beach and Pool every day. The pool is free and so nice! Less crowded than Bondi which we loved. Highly recommend this beach and pool to anyone staying in the area.

Not a great swimming beach as the Rip is dangerous. It is part of the lovely Bondi to Coogee Coastal walk which is stunning in any weather.

Very nice beach. Specially the Brontë beach pool. Stunning view over the ocean, coastline and beach. Very lively. Smaller than Bondi beach...but also more cozy.

We walked over the cliffs from Bondi and came across Bronte beach. Not as commercial as Bondi, it's a decent size. Pretty.

Bronte is a smaller beach set well back with a decent area of sand and interesting rocks north and south and good surf. Less commercial that Bondi and Coogee and quieter and more pleasant.
