This beach is very beautiful, has blue waters but the currents can be quite rough. Perfect for surfers and there were many out the day we went as well. There is also a large grass sitting area to enjoy the sun.

Although we didnt stay long here (walking the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk) this beach is in a great setting enclosed by sandstone cliffs and is family friendly.

We didn't stay along during our walk from Bondi to Coogee. But this beach has potential. Quaint, uncrowded, and felt welcoming.

Great beach with a massive park attached only about 10min from cbd in good traffic. Easy place to hang out at all day!

If you are a poor Swimming I suggest you hang at the cafe, this beach can be very tricky. There is a lot to offer outside the surf Cafe's, Picnic Area's and Coastal walks.

In early June 2016 there was a storm which damaged some of the walls, parkland and so on. Council fenced it all off and awarded reconstruction to some firm. The pool's filtration system was damaged and a search began for ways to fix it. As I write this it's mid-October and the beach is still a mess. The pool is... More

Lived in Sydney for 13 years yet had never been to Bronte Beach before. Dropped in as part of our Spendour Tailored Tours day out & thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Late afternoon visit, fish and chips and a stroll along the stunning shore (part of the Bondi to Bronte walk). We even spotted a whale on the walk back round to the car. Family friendly, bbq areas and calm areas of the beach. Bronte fish and chips was well worth a visit too! Fisherman's basket. Be prepared to park a... More

If you're looking for a great beach and beach town without all the build up and sizzle of Bondi, check out Bronte. Terrific cafes, pretty easy parking.
