Lovely place to walk in the evening with plenty choices of restaurants, bars near by. It is also a nice place to enjoy the dusk at sunset. Good swimming facilities near by. Not too crowded.

It's a nice calm inner harbour beach suitable for young kids. The esplanade is wonderful for walks and there are facilities to wash your self once you have finished swimming.

Ideal stop off location if you are close by but not worth a drive down. Heads up parking isn't free.
