It is a steep walk up to the castle, but there is a mini tourist train that you can get if you go early evening. It is well set out with an organised route around the castle and good information.

Great view from here, great for walkers.. wear sensible shoes and do it later or early in the day as it’s very hot in July/ August ! Great place to visit ❤️

A good way to spend the afternoon away from the bustle of the beaches. Limited interpretation but worth a visit if you like this kind of thing

Amazing view and wonderful beaches nearby. If you are on vacation in the Platamonas area or if you are in transit, you must visit the Platamonas castle.
