Nungwi beach really is like in all the idyllic brochures, white sand, clear blue / turquoise water and in September not too busy at all. I was worried about the beach vendors before I arrived but found that they did not pester at all and...More

Nungwi beach(es) are the best beaches if you like to swim. Without walking on the reef for a long distance. There are also many nice restaurants where you can have a drink or something to eat.

The beach has clean blue waters. It is refreshing to swim at that beach. The restaurant has a good menu and variety of drinks.

It's a great beach where you can walk for long when the tide is low. At higher tides the water is superbly clear. The area near Nungwi Inn supermarket gets crowded in the evening with locals though.

It's a safe place. Make negotiations for everything not only for taxis. For breakfast you can eat on the beach, there is some restaurants &the night try the strit food at all mana. Be sure is not raining season.
