A Taoist Temple. Open from 6AM-6PM. No caretakers around when we were there but the place is clean and well-kept. A little out of the way from Rizal Blvd.

This church or temple is somewhat rundown, and seldom is there anyone present to look after your needs. But then, in all my visits to the waterfront near it, it's pretty well almost always deserted. The nicest thing about the place are the waterlilies in...More

We walked there from out hotel and stumbled on it by accident. It is something different and like all temples it has some interesting architecture and is right by the water.

I found this Taoist/Budist church really nice to look at, looks very Chinese. Not a lot to do there except take a few photos and pop a donations in the box, but I liked it.

The place is serene since it is quite far from the city and near the beach. Renovation ongoing when we went there. But you can still go into and pray.

The grounds and hall are well maintained. I felt free to walk about the place. The building is clean, bright, but the decorations are modest compared to similar places on mainland Asia. I walked out to the Bell Church, walking over a bridge from which...More

Totally intriguing temple tucked away in Dumaguete. Well worth the effort to get by and check the place out.
