This church has the most incongruous interior and exterior I have ever seen. Several reviewers characterized the style as “fascist” but it does not have the stern, linear style that I think of from that period (Romanesque, symmetry, simplicity). It does have a light-colored stone facade with over the top ostentation, a series of modernistic triangular peaks; stelle can be seen in the rear. The interior is somewhat spare, but the interior columns are Corinthian, wouldn’t Ionic or Doric have been a better choice? Otherwise, nothing else is unusual in the interior.

On Corso Roma, it dates back to the early 1900s, but was completed in 1943. With geometric shapes both outside and inside, it is worth a visit.
