A great place to visit. Lots of walking if you choose to do so, or alternatively you can hop on the buggy train that takes you around the site. I think there is probably a small charge for that.
Plenty to see, with information on...More
We really enjoyed our visit to this site. What an amazing historical treasure. We walked around the site but it is pissible to drive to the two main sites. Weather was pleasant, not too hot which added to our enjoyment. The views are fantastic.
I'm quite a fan of ancient sites and have visited many, but to me this site is the best. I say this because the site is very accessible with nothing off limits. you can get up very close and experience the ruins. Not sure what...More

The site is astoundingly beautiful with the huge columns, the temples, the ruins lying across the fields and the views of the water. You can actually walk through the temples, stepping back in time in awe of how they were constructed. Reading beforehand and afterwards should be enough. We were there in June and I highly recommend hats and sunscreen and lots of water!
