Definitely get a tour guide to fully appreciate the history of this site. Lots of walking and can be hot in September but worth the visit.

Selinunte is an amazing site for any history lovers. The site is a little off the beaten track but the remains of the Doric temple and the acropolis allow for a different perspective on Ancient Greek life in Sicily.

Excellent archeological park with good signage and easy to locate. There is a golf cart service to take you around the site which is huge. Very worth while for a few hours.

We really enjoyed our visit to this site. What an amazing historical treasure. We walked around the site but it is pissible to drive to the two main sites. Weather was pleasant, not too hot which added to our enjoyment. The views are fantastic.
