A great place to visit. Lots of walking if you choose to do so, or alternatively you can hop on the buggy train that takes you around the site. I think there is probably a small charge for that. Plenty to see, with information on...More

We really enjoyed our visit to this site. What an amazing historical treasure. We walked around the site but it is pissible to drive to the two main sites. Weather was pleasant, not too hot which added to our enjoyment. The views are fantastic.

I'm quite a fan of ancient sites and have visited many, but to me this site is the best. I say this because the site is very accessible with nothing off limits. you can get up very close and experience the ruins. Not sure what...More

This site is over 2700 years old and although it might be easily described as just piles of old stones, it is one of the most atmospheric places of its kind that we have ever visited. I did wonder whether the two and a half...More

We only had time to visit them 3 temples closer to the entrance and we just looked far to the other ruins. Great temples and probably the trail across the former city is really charming.

While there were lots (and I mean lots) of tourists (and newleyweds...what's with these Sicilians...there were more weddings than tourists!) , it is an absolutely amazing site. Bring your sneakers and your water bottle.

This is a very interesting site, and well worth a visit. the site unfortunately is not well maintained with quite a bit of garbage on the grounds but the ruins are still pretty amazing.

Interesting place, there are shuttles, but we decided to walk the entire area and even in the August heat we found it manageable. It is very cheap to enter, and the site is well maintained, and very easy to navigate. Wear comfortable walking shoes and...More

A great alternative for the much more tourist Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. Much cheaper and not less impressive, we were there almost alone.

The site is astoundingly beautiful with the huge columns, the temples, the ruins lying across the fields and the views of the water. You can actually walk through the temples, stepping back in time in awe of how they were... More
