The biggest archeological park in Europe, and one of the most significant about Ancient Greek culture. I’ve been at home for a short visit and wanted to spend few hours walking on this place, which is very closed from the town I was born. The...More

Lots of ruins to see here. They are very spread out, so you need to purchase a ticket for the tram. Also, be advised that there is an admission fee and a share for the tram, and they do not take credit cards.

The archaeological area is incredible. We were, seriously, twelve of 15 people at the site all day. I'd highly recommend taking the golf carts or it would be a significant hike to see everything. 7 euro per person for the carts. Weather was great and...More

Definitely get a tour guide to fully appreciate the history of this site. Lots of walking and can be hot in September but worth the visit.

What can I write... another must see if you're into history/architecture. You can hire an electric vehicle to move round the sites, however, you can not drive it.

The site is astoundingly beautiful with the huge columns, the temples, the ruins lying across the fields and the views of the water. You can actually walk through the temples, stepping back in time in awe of how they were... More
