This place is absolutely amazing. Different varieties of routes set up for travelers to go from village to village. Different scenes and terrains. Couldn't ask for more. Portuguese food is superb!!!!!. One of BEST cuisines. Fresh air, scenery, food, animals and history. Can't beat it

We hiked from Porto Covo to Odeceixe. I loved the hike, although I have 3 pieces of advice. 1. if you must skip a day, skip the 3rd day; and 2. stay as close as you can to the trail so you don't walk far...More

We did run into a mountain bike tour group on the historical trail just west of Cercal. Lots of very hilly/ mountainous terrain and some roads quite rough and rocky.
