It is a bridge and a nice place, but that is just about it. Not much to see and parking can be a bit difficult due to the crowded area.

Ribeira Grande is on the north side nestled in a steepish valley with a river running through the middle into the sea. In years gone by the river was used to power a number of mills, the ruins of which are below the bridge and now a lovely little park area with playground. great spot for pictures and a chance to let little ones have a play. well worth the visit
