Very beautiful hotel with a warm atmosphere. Try the jacuzzi outside and don't forget to buy the nice Pierrot souvenirs that you'll find in the hall, near the Reception! The hotel has also a club for a night out with friends!

We are skiing a lot around the world and were more than surprised when we visited Poiana Brasov this winter. We decided to take the train from Bucharest - which was very smart as we were told by many Romanian skiers as traffic is always a nightmare on this route. It only took us a little over 2 hours and... Jump on the train from Gara du Nord and head to Brasov for the weekend. Get a cute, old world apt. or hotel and head to the slopes of Poiana. The views from the top of the cable car are unforgettable! Skiing in Romania is so affordable: full equipment is 50 lei, a 4 hour tow ticket is 70 lei... More

I visited for skiing towards the end of March so the area was quite quiet as it is near the end of the season. Some ski lifts were closed as snow was limited but great snow at the top of the mountains!

Nice village, friendly people, you enjoy your ski trip as much as you enjoy the alpes, but you pay 4 times less

I never expected my first ski trip abroad to be to Romania, but although I lack comparison I can really recommend it. Poiana Brasov is a tiny village with a lot of ski lodges and hotels. Two hour drive from Bucharest to the north up into the mountains. Everything for skiing is there but you can also do other things... More

Is a beautiful place located in Romania with a special view, where you can have a lot of fun in the winter or sommer! A good place for sky or snowboard!

Good 4 days of relaxing at night and skiing until 4 PM. Good location, prices a little bit to high but good conditions for skiing. Crowded on weekends.

Even though we went for skiing, we enjoyed this activity the most. It's situated next to Bradul slope. You pay for 1h, 2h, 3h or whole day access with or without the uphill travelator and enjoy speeding down a steep hill on sledges or single /double rubber tubes. Amazing fun for the fearless!

It's a really small site, only 3 lifts were working. Most slopes are icy and some are really narrow. Nothing to do after 16:00 except for having dinner.
