This is better than many on the South East side on Mallorca including the Coves de Drach, which has become tourist central over the last 20 years. Unspoilt at the moment, maybe at bit boring for those who don't like castles and history, but the...More

Extensive stone refurbishment have secured the main castle steps, towers and entrance gateway for visitors to enjoy stunning views of the South-West of the Island. Ignoring the Spanish SAT Nav, took me to a fruit farm, the castle is approached through a twisting pleasant road...More

Up a narrow lane, car park beneath castle walls. Very impressive from outside, less so from inside. Very rough and steep paths and few features inside. 4 euros. Worth a visit particularly if you like places most people don't visit.

This is a very impressive castle ruin on the top of a mountain with great views all around. It is a steep drive up the mountain with parking at the top. You pay a small fee to enter - when we arrived in the late...More

Thank you very much for your visit and your comment.

Fantastic situation - worth just visiting the car park - and wonderful views. But the site is VERY uneven. The man at the entrance assured me it was flat and easy after the initial entrance stairs and that my husband, who'd recently had a new...More

Great location with 360 degrees of views. Rough paths and lots of opportunities for clambering. However it is a huge missed opportunity to tell the story of the castle. Minimum information in handout and a bit of a jigsaw puzzle to work out which building...More

You can wander round the ruined castle to your heart's content. Great views of the island. A few walls and ruined buildings bit worth the drive up the hill.

Hard to find but nice view from the top. Not many buildings left so the best part was the view. No restrooms on sight so be prepared.

A lot is missing but there is still a huge amount to see. Fantastic views from a castle that would have been virtually impossible to attack with siege towers, trebuchets or by mining. With wells and space to grow food this place would have been...More
