Amazingly large area to have a look at which means that visitors do not feel crowded together. So many remains, quite uunusual.

At €5.50 per adult this place was really good value. Very interesting and scenic, plus an audio guide included for the price which had some great information about the site and the way life used to be here. Well worth a visit

The information through the audio guides is excellent. Also the meseum is nice, not too big. Parking is cheap and partly included in the museum ticket.

This was very interesting but there is very little shade. The audio guide was great, very informative and atmospheric. The museum offered some coolness about two thirds of the way round with a vending machine for water. Allow a few hours for the visit.

This is a much larger site than you would imagine. There is a mix of Greek and Roman towns with approximately 90 buildings in total. I would suggest taking the audio tour as it really adds a lot of information you don't get from the...More

This site is very impressive and makes a great day out. The audio guide included in the price is very interesting with adult and child commentaries. There isn't much shade, but the air conditioned museum is half way round between the Greek and Roman ruins...More

Less than €5 if you're with kids (under 2s free) and could easily spend a full day here exploring! Good audio tour and a really interesting place with both Greek and Roman ruins! Shame there isn't more of a cafe to stop at, but there...More

We took the bus from Girona to L'Escala then walked along the promenade to the Ruins of Empuries. Lovely walk. The ruins are exceptionally good value, only 5.5 Euro per adult which includes an entertaining audio guide. We spent a few hours there happily. Be...More

There is a beach there but we didn't use it. If you have a car there are plenty if beaches in the area. 😊

I am not sure. I don't remember seeing any dogs but that doesn't mean they are not allowed. Sorry I cannot be more helpful.
