We visited to have some drinking glasses repaired. While we were waiting we visited some of the individual craft workshops which were fascinating. The work produced by these artisans is varied in concept, style and size. We were particularly taken with wall and table art...More

I really enjoy visiting here. I was also a former student of the adjacent Glasshouse College, a short while ago. If you love organic food, then this is the place for you. There are also many small industrial and company units and business, that offer...More

This is actually an FE College in Arts and Crafts - with a Craft Centre and small exhibition space. Watched a glassblower tutor a student - fascinating! Several small craft studios selling wares. Small cafe on site - staff very helpful.

Most recent visit was for the 2017 British Glass Biennale. There was a fantastic buzz about the place, and some amazing exhibits on show. I particularly respect the generosity of the individual artisans, both in their display of their crafts, and in sharing those skills...More

Whilst the retail outlets are fair, but very pricey, the cafe has deteriorated over the past 12 months or so. They used to have decent cakes etc but now they are awful. If you live locally it is quite pleasant to walk along the canal...More

Hi Rose I've not been on a course so can't answer, I'm afraid. I'd suggest giving them a call. However, they do have a Christmas Craft & Vintage Fayre on November 25th & 26th which would be worth visit. Cheers Annie
