Had a fab day at the beach last week, Black rock is a bit tricky to find (use your Sat Nav) but we'll worth it. You can drive onto the beach and pick your own spot, the sand is very hard and easy to drive...More

Came here for the day while staying at Hafan y mor. It's about 20 minute drive from there.I believe it's £5 a day parking, think that's by taking cars & van/motor vehicles on to the beach, alot of people just parked outside of there. It's a...More

We arrived with high hopes due to many good reviews and left feeling underwhelmed. We liked the idea of parking on the beach as it meant we did not have to carry all our beach gear any distance. However we were expecting a designated parking...More

Large beach that was very clean. Vehicles can pay £5.00 to park on the beach for the day. Plenty of space for all interests...watersports, beach games, dog walking...Ice cream van and burger van on the beach. Toilets are available just off the beach also. There...More

We all enjoyed ourselves! Our children loved that we could park our car on the beach. We visited in the afternoon and it was very windy but that didn’t bother us. We all had so much fun, even our dog enjoyed himself! Our children went...More

As it was a wet and windy day I thought it would be nice to sit in the car and watch the waves while we ate our picnic in the car. It's a shame that it costs £5 regardless of the length of your stay....More

Great beach accessed via fab sand dunes and has safe bathing - Sadly its great shame about the CARS and the continual mis-use of the sands for a race-track by people who should know better and should have greater respect for their environment.

The novelty of parking on the beach soon wore off when the logic of the sand being like concrete hit us! We should perhaps have explored further away from the access road, where there was less seaweed and a little more actual beachfront, but as...More

This was our first visit but I believe they have an ice cream van on the beach during the day. I’m not sure whether they allow coaches onto the beach
