A delightful day as artist Frank Cossey took us on a tour of his marvellous collection of orchids, exotic birds, coy and tropical fish. The art gallery featuring oil and acrylic creations, brought the east coast of Barbados to life through his paintings. And to top it all off the hospitality shown was extraordinary - the home cooked meal ending with a superb cheesecake dessert was “to die for”. Will be happy to return ASAP.

We had a lovely time with Kathleen and Frank at their lovely art gallery and cafe. The steamed bread fruit, plantains, sweet potato and Bajan dumplings that Kathleen so generously treated us to was wonderful. The cheesecake, a must try, with rum raisin topping and my piece with cherries was out of this world. Was definitely a great find after many self-inflicted misdirections (lost). Thank you !!

What a wonderful experience! Frank, the barefoot artist is extremely talented and a friendly host...he gives a tour including amazing orchids, fabulous fish tanks and beautiful birds. After the tour enjoy the cafe run by his beautiful wife, Karlene. She bakes an assortment of cheesecakes and other goodies along with a fine rum punch. The coconut cheesecake put us over the moon. A short walk down the road gives you an island view of Ragged Point. Thank you both for a memorable afternoon .

Make time for a gentle visit to this charming gallery and cafe. Frank Cossey is a talented self-taught artist working in oils and acrylics, who will show you his exhibits and those of other island artists in an airy light studio, as well as tour you round the amazing orchids, colourful birds and tropical fish maintained by his brother in law. There are paintings of all sizes, arts and crafts for sale. Karlene bakes excellently - we had almond cake and lemon and poppyseed cake - and a refreshing cup of tea. Others in the cafe had enjoyed a delicious lunch. There’s a breezy relaxing family feel to Deebles - we loved it. You can also walk or drive easily to Deebles Point and Ragged Point and Lighthouse from where the sea is dramatic and beautiful down the east coast as far as the eye can see.

A very pleasant friendly place for a relaxed coffee and cake. Frank is an artist with a gallery of his own attractive Bajan landscape and abstract paintings in oils and acrylics. He also enjoys showing off the family’s orchids, ornamental fish and birds. Karlene runs the Café La Dolcezza and not only produces lovely cakes but chooses her coffee beans with care and serves it all with delightful Bajan warmth and hospitality. We have been before and will drop past again when we are staying on the East Coast.

Whilst visiting the east point light house at St Philip, we noticed a sign for a Art gallery / cafe, so we popped over initially it appeared to be like a normal house but you soon realize it's much more than that. What a house, walls full of paintings arts and craft everywhere, the couples passion where diverse he was an artist she was a culinary magician..cheese cake to die for OMG seriously good all self made, just when you think you've seen it all next door is an Avery full of beautiful birds, a large area full of huge fish koi carp to sharks, then we were shown the orchid collection again beautiful colors and variety quite special.

Great day at Deebles Art Gallery. In fact it is much more than an Art Gallery. Frank and his wife are excellent host. Ingrid the custom jeweller also adds to the charm.

After reviewing the Art Collection, plant, bird and fish life. A slice or two of Carlene's (Frank's wife) cheesecake sets the taste buds in motion.

Highly recommended venue, the rugged road on approach, scenic ocean views and warm trade winds all add to the magic of the day.

Spent time with Karlene and Frank at their art gallery and coffee shop. The choice of cakes were to relish and enjoy before visiting the gallery. The art plus visiting the orchids, fish and birds were the icing on the cake.,
