We returned to Sunbury having had our wedding here 3 years ago. Interesting place to look around. A bit quirky Buffet lunch is lovely. Thanks for making us some 'corn and oil' to try again 😀

Stopped here for an excellent lunch while on Teds tours. It is an old sugar plantation house full of various items going back centuries

We did the Sunbury tour as part of a bigger tour of the Island. It was fascinating to see how people lived "back then" and has a great collection of old artifacts. Everything from the house to the grounds was well kept, the lunch was...More

Lovely old, historical plantation house to visit. Lived in not long ago and beautifully furnished with additional interesting collections to view e.g: lots of old optical equipment as well as old cameras and in the cellar a collection of old tools, carts and carriages. Small...More

The two rooms which demonstrated the lives of the Plantation owners were interesting, although the wax model of the man is quite disconcerting. The other rooms appeared to be a very strange collection of artefacts including tools, crockery and a massive collection of optician's glasses...More

We did not eat here but just came to tour the house. Very strange. It's a nice old house but just a random eclectic collection of stuff from different time periods. Then you have the current owner's personal collection off eyeglasses and cameras which is...More

We visited this house as part of a larger island tour. It also contains a restaurant on-site, which will be reviewed separately. The house itself is an exhibit of early colonial life. Throughout its many rooms and basement are displays of home wares, photographs, and...More

This is a museum, and as such, is packed with furniture and some stories. You don't get to see the plantation environment as such. Inside the house, there are interesting objets, not always placed in the room where they were at the time of the...More

Everything like in the old movies about pirates, was cool to stand near 200 years old dining table. If you like history then it's your place

Hi Howiebuoy, As previously stated the house was well below par. I did not know what to expect but I for sure know when there is a 'white elephant' in the room. The house is not shown to a good or great standard. It is All... More
