Don't tell anyone!

A really lovely spot. Don't come if you want too much company. It's a small beach but very few people know about it. That's the bonus! It is difficult to find, it doesn't have... read more

A really lovely spot. Don't come if you want too much company. It's a small beach but very few people know about it. That's the bonus! It is difficult to find, it doesn't have amenities and the sea is less suited to swimming so probably not what kids are looking for but ....... It's idyllic views from the cliff top... More

bottom bay is really an amazing small beach on the south coast of Barbados. You reach it from a small parking spot at the end of a side road. The setup with palms, rocks and the sea is just amazing. Watch out the water can be pretty rough here but the scene and atmosphere are great. You have to bring... More

My partner and I hired a car to do a tour of the island and programmed Bottom Bay into the sat nav. I don't think you would manage to find it without and would also recommend getting a 4x4 as the roads on Barbados are bad! We didn't actually go down onto the beach just took some photos and admired... More

My rating is based on my expectation. Based on the previous reviews I was expecting something picturesque, and unbelievable. After visiting the beach I really ask myself if the previous people have much to compare it to. The beach is incredibly small. I guess it depends on what you are looking for. If you want a beach that is almost... More

Bottom Bay is a bit tricky to find if you don't know your way around, but look out once you find it. It is by far one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to. The beach is set below a cliff with pretty cool stairs built in to a gap. The thick, powdery white sand beach is... More

Barbados was a one day cruise stop for us. We hired a driver to take us to Harry Smith Beach and Bottom Bay Beach. Both were spectacular. No facilities at each if that is important to you. You need to have good directions to get there. I am not able to provide those. Our driver knew all the backroads. The... More

I just love this beach, rough and rugged, unspoilt, make a day of it pack a picnic, come prepared there are no facilities here, buy a coconut from the friendly vendors, if your lucky Hollywood, will climb the tree for you, this is a sight to behold, plenty shade would not recommend swimming unless you are a very strong swimmer.

There is hardly ever anyone here. Most people don't stay around here. Good - because we've stayed twice, each time for a couple weeks. It's amazing...here's review : It is a lot of steep steps down, very strong waves. A lot of travelers I see from beach just come to look at it from a top the cliff. Fine with... More

Think of the most dreamy unspoilt paradise beach you can imagine; blue clear water, palm trees swaying, white sands and total peace. We obviously went at the right time and had the beach all to ourselves - well worth the trip providing you don't rely on having a bar/toilet and other travellers around :-) a really good place to act... I got married on this beach on the 10th of October. This was the best day of my life and Lynel our wedding co-ordinator from Affordable weddings set up a stunning arch decorated with flowers and some chairs with covers and bows.I wobbled down the many steps in my big white dress and as I came around the corner and saw...
