Fun trip

A worthwhile experience to bring young children on but make sure to bring water as it can get hot! I do feel the price is a bit high for a family for what you get.

I have ridden the Kettle Valley train twice now. I imagine it's more fun in the summertime than when it's freezing cold. It's a great experience for steam buffs and little kids, railway historians and banjo lovers... The station has a good souvenir shop with many items of clothing and other stuff bearing the Kettle Valley logo. Prices are reasonable.... More

We loved this attraction. The conductor gives you a play by play as to the history of the train and the sights. You get a behind the scene view of the orchards and wineries. The sound of the engine is so cool. Lot's of fun.

We took our 2 year old to the train and we had such a good time. Everyone that works there is volunteers and they seem to love what they do. Everyone was super helpful and answered any questions we had. This is my 3rd time taking the train and it won't be the last. Can't wait for our next trip!

We sat in the right site of the train (the seats are numbered), which has less good views the hole journey. People tended to stand, so we couldn't look past them. So a bit boring to go one way and then back the same way. A lot of people, where touristy. But, be there early (about an hour before) in... More

We enjoyed a trip on the KVR on a spectacular Okanagan day. It was a perfect day to enjoy the ride and to experience the old railway. It is run by a very cheerful and knowledgeable group of volunteers. The views were lovely and the commentary was informative and entertaining.

Our group of 8 ranged in age from 4 - 70 and we all had a great time. Once we got up to the depot we were happy to find they had a pull in spot to drop off my mom and the kids while I parked across the gravel lot. It was a HOT day 90+. There was a... More

Very informative, it was a history lesson wrapped up with a beautiful scenic ride. Train was not full, we had booked the vintage coach...the open air one seemed much fuller. Wonderful staff. Plenty of parking. We got to purchase & enjoy fresh picked local fruits during the stop near trestle overlooking the canon. It was nice that they had a... More
