We stopped in to see the museum and they have a wide array of historical items. It is extremely well organized and one of the volunteers took us through the whole museum and gave us a very interesting explanation of items. It was great!

Extremely helpful and animated in telling the history of the area. Wonderful collection. Outside they have a train car and maintenance car. We learned of the flood in 1948 that nearly devastated the community. No dikes along the river which overflowed the banks, Flooded half the town. They have a small gift shop with hand made items and homemade jams.

This little museum has an extensive collection put together by a group of dedicated volunteers. They had just re-opened for the season and were well prepared. Our volunteer guides were very sweet and extremely informative. The museum shop was also quite nice with handmade items and a good selection of books. Great blackberry jam!

This little train museum offers a great deal of history into the town of Agassiz and surrounding area. Did you know we had a dukobor camp in the area at one time??? Excellent hosts. Lived here for many years and still enjoy browsing around the museum.

I personally enjoyed it for the sake of history and getting more acquainted with where I live. Also, I spoke with a very kind gentleman when I was there who was very kind and super informative too which made for an enjoyable experience. It's worth the stop in, even if it's a brief one.

This museum is located inside the old railway station & is chalked full of local history and the surrounding area. When I went in the staff was very friendly & knowledgeable. I would recommend this stop for anyone stopping in Agassiz.

This is a good museum for learning the local history of the area. There is an out building that holds artifacts from the logging and farming industries. There is also an old caboose you can climb into. The main building was the original train station in the area. The station master's room holds many artifacts from CP Rail. The two... More

This little museum is a gem. There's an amazing amount of artifacts and information here. I may be biased because some of our family items are housed here. However, this is a good stop for anyone interested in the history of the area. The volunteers do an amazing job.
