Segway Tour along the Welland Canal 2h

16 reviews
This Segway tour of the Welland Canal allows you to see more in a short amount of time than you could on foot. In addition to navigating, your guide offers local stories and facts often missed by visitors about the Canal’s history, and ensures plenty of time for photos. A pre-departure training session and fairly flat route make this a popular choice for beginners and families.

This is the Port Robinson Park. There is a playground for kids. Baseball. Basketball. Nearby is a river. A must see!

The Port Robinson Park and Splash Pad is a GREAT place to take kids. Very well maintained and not busy. Nice and close to the Welland Canal so you can also spot boats. Also, you can take the kids for a ride on the Port Robinson Ferry. Great place for a picnic too and there is an ice cream shop nearby.

This park is right in our neighbourhood and we often take the grandchildren. Thorold staff keep it well maintained. They have just added dozens more trees and a gazebo for shade.

This little park is situated in historic Port Robinson where the old canal used to be. History buffs enjoy this place, and families like it for its playground and waterpark. We used to go when our kiddo was small -- picnics and splash pad fun. A good place to enjoy a coffee and take a break from a busy schedule. Friendly little town not yet over exposed to expansion.
