It is not the actual Anne of Green Gables historic place as we had originally thought when we typed it into the gps. I would skip this and go straight to the actual place next time. The people running this place were friendly and if...More

Was expecting a magical place but ended up being an old work out waste of time. Buyer beware it is not worth it. It would seem that they are just collecting what they can from the book and not freshing up the place. I will...More

Very interesting history of the life and inspiration for Lucy M. Montgomery. The home of her relatives boasts her own handmade patch quilt and the parlour where she was married.

It is a bit of a ripoff of Green Gables. Not a ton to see for the money. It's a private money maker for the owner and not like Green Gables. It's ok to pop into, but don't expect much.

I would say half a day is plenty enough. Make sure to visit the book store. The lady running the book store gave a beautiful little explanation about the life of the author, etc. We really enjoyed that. :)
