Awesome hike with great shopping and food on the way. Be a local and eat like a local in the indigenous market.

Hiking was a bit difficult for some in our party as it was a bit muddy however it was worth the effort as the views are magnificent and the energy amazing !

Definitely worth the climb. Lots of photo opportunities (rest stops) on the way up. I have enjoyed this both times that I have been up. The pyramid is not as big as others but the view is phenomenal. We had a park guide give a...More

We parked in town and walked half a mile to the trail head. It is 2.5 km up to the top. It's a pretty steep, strenuous climb so make sure to dress appropriately and bring water. Unfortunately, we got to the top to discover that...More

This place is great for excercise. Walking through a beautiful forest and up the mountain for about an hour. The view from the top is spectacular. But not really worth that much effort if you expect something more. There is really nothing up there apart...More

At the base of the trail up to the pyramid there was a restaurant which looked like it had lovely views. If I'd had more time before catching my bus back to Mexico City I would have tried there.
